Our housekeeper has rushed back to Peru to be with her daughter, who was pregnant with a really undersized baby, who was having in-utero convulsions (best understanding from the Spanish I have learned so far). She delivered via c-section last week, the baby is in rough shape; and our housekeeper is likely out of breath from praying with all her might.
I am relieved to hear this evening, that her daughter is going to be out of the hospital soon; but distressed that the baby has a high fever, and I'm guessing, hasn't been breathing on his own yet. So when you're done reading...send some good thoughts out into the world for them please. And give your kids an extra squeeze!
