“It’s happened again!
Percival—you must eliminate Flame, the lava serpent. Immediately!” commanded the King as
he caught up with Percivil in the hall.
A look of determination set upon Percivil’s face.
“Get twenty knights” began the King.
“Got it.”
The
King continued “Seven war wagons, five big tents, two food wagons, 30 food
wagon barrels”.
“When do you want us back?” asked Percivil.
“5 days” answered the King.
“Yes Sire” replied.
The
corridor between King’s chambers and the training field was filled with
people. Percivil turned around to round
up the knights, and bumped into Severus.
“Hello Severus. I
was just coming for you.”
“Yes?” queried Severus.
“Get 20 knights, 7 archers, 2 ultra knights,” commanded Percivil.
“Yes sir.” answered Severus.
“Don’t run” said Percivil.
“Yes sir, “ answered Severus.
“I’ll get the drivers, and all the other stuff,” said Percival, talking to him. “You four,” he beckoned.
“Yes,” they answered
together.
“Get ready to leave.”
“Where to?”
“To serpent volcano,” Percivil replied. And showed the map.
“Yes! I love that place because after I can tell stories
about it, ” said the driver enthusiastically.
“Sir!” said Severus. “I have all the Knights you
requested at the ready.”
“We’re leaving!” the driver announced.
“Saddle up,” called out Percivil to
the Knights.
The
knights leaped into the wagons. Percivil
signaled to the guards to raise the gates.
Suddenly, Percivil remembered it was just past noon, so the Ultra
Knights would normally be having lunch.
He halted the wagon, and called out to Severus, “Get two lunches for the Ultra Knights! They need strength for their journey to
Serpent Volcano.”
A
few moments later, Severus returned with two lunches. The wagons started the
journey. The ultra knights ate like they
had been starving for days. “Why did you eat so fast?” asked Percivil.
“We just finished practice, and it was really tough
today. We were nearly exhausted,” replied one of the Ultra Knights.
“How tough was it?” Percivil questioned.
BUMP. The wagon’s jolting over the rocks
interrupted the peaceful journey.
“You might want to hold on,” said Severus.
“This war wagon is going to bump my lunch out!” said the other Ultra Knight.
“Oh no! Stick your head out the air
hole in the roof,” said an archer.
“It’s getting dark. When the sun’s
down, we set up. Light the lanterns
first,” commanded Percivil.
“Yep,” answered the driver.
“Men, it’s time to set camp for the night,” hollered Percivil to the
farthest wagon. “Archers, it’s hunting time.” Percivil continued.
“Can we hunt bears in the forest?” asked the younger archer.
“Sure, but make sure you
come back!” Percivil replied with a laugh.
But then, as soon as Percivil sat down, he fell asleep.
He was awakened by a huge “Rooooooooooaaaar”. “The lava serpent!” screamed an archer.
Percivil got up and yelled, “Attack!”
“Archers fire!” Percivil shouted. Wooooooosssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! The serpent
came down from the sky.
Percivil ran and jumped
off a rock, but his attempt failed to succeed.
He ran behind a rock for cover. Percivil
rolled over to avoid a burning branch that nearly fell down upon him. He ran up the rock a second time, jumped,
bringing his sword down on the serpent with a mighty push, he sliced the
serpent. At the same time, the rest of
the knights attacked the body with their weapons. Finally, the serpent’s flaming head fell,
landing away from the rest of its lifeless body.
Percivil declared
victory, thrusting his sword into the air.
“”And now-we shall return to the village and see if they have any ale to
quench our thirst!”

There are pictures that go with, that he sourced via google, and included...and the super "knight looking" font isn't supported here-but it's supermedieval!!!
