Colombian scenes

We were invited to spend a day with our friends' families at their finca (farm, or country house) so with gusto, we did~
Driving from Medellin to Rio Negro, Colombia...the shot never really does the view justice, because it's about 190 degrees of city in the valley, with a cap of continuously changing cloud above.
View from the finca, into the valley....
Scenery at the finca...hats for everyone
Lots of plants around the porch, this one has a gel in the centre of the blossoms
 Begonias?!
 Into the pasture below...
 Nicer than the chain link...
This palm is one of many, many varieties here
This is a bromeliad, though I know not which kind, was enjoying the colour and the light of it
This is mostly for my aunt...his name is Gris, and that's "Grey" in Spanish
Post-pool, we got the kids in just before the rain...this is warming up in the rain.
 More spectacular blossoms
This worked well with the "good camera" because I was able to actually focus on the  rain falling
Warming up too...those are purplish lips!
These are bottle-brush looking trees, and there are quite a few here...but always by themselves, so perhaps they're an exotic one?
Again, this is the spider...this is the web
This cow had cool colours ... and those colours are very common--this one has the small ears, but many, many have longer floppy ears.
 La grupa!
Cheers and Chao-especially applicable these days
