It almost makes itself

After a day of studying, this was the plan:  a recipe-singing the praises of fresh herbs (again!)

Chicken soup
Cover a chicken breast (lg pot!) with water and boil until cooked, (use whatever chicken you like)
Saute together onions, garlic, and chopped cabbage until translucent
Add quartered and sliced carrots and celery, saute until soft
Add 2 cubes of chicken or veggie "stock" (or powdered is fine too)

Once chicken is cooked, remove and let cool

To the remaining liquid, add approximately:
1/2 cup of quinoa
Pasta shells
A few good shakes of ground sage
Fresh chopped herbs (thyme, bay leaf, rosemary and dill)
Salt and pepper-as you like it...

Let it reduce until it's as you like to see it in the bowls.  That's all...

The combination was really simple, classic, and I think that's why it was so good.  Super satisfying.  The gluten-free shells were a nice treat for me:)

Cheers and chao-
